Conservation Projects
Our key strategy for saving tigers and other endangered wildlife is to create win-win solutions for both local people and wildlife by eliminating perennial conflicts between potentially dangerous wildlife species such as tigers, leopards and elephants and human lives and livelihoods. We do this through effective promotion of fair, voluntary and generous relocation of affected families currently marooned in wildlife rich areas by supporting provision of livelihood opportunities and access to healthcare, education, transportation, and communication facilities.
We aim to simultaneously achieve twin goals of promoting human welfare and wildlife conservation. Working in close partnership with major donors, affected people, local NGOs and, government agencies we bring to this process the best of biological and social science research and monitoring.
